Some of Your Duties & Focal Areas
- Have a passion for coding clean HTML, CSS/SCSS & JS that is performant and cross browser compatible. You keep up to date with emerging technologies and the latest best practices. You are a quick learner who is always looking to improve.
- You know your Sections from your Divs, your Buttons from your Anchor tags and when and why to use each
- Minimum 2+ years industry experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio of existing projects
- Have an eye for design and maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the UI
- Be able to provide accurate time estimates on work for the project management team
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
- Contributing to documentation (instructional, pitch and technical specification)
- Discuss technical solutions & basic training with clients
- Have good understanding of Web Accessibility
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently within a small team
Highly regarded
- Experience with Shopify and Liquid
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Sketch
- Experience with Git version control
- Experience with the command line
- Can understand and write PHP and or NodeJS
- Can write vanilla JS without relying on frameworks such as jQuery
- Solid understanding of Google Analytics and SEO
